Natalie Giorlando discovered art for herself a few years ago and has been living it ever since. She believes that art can do a lot and therefore loves to evoke positive feelings with her colorful creations and just to have fun with them. ​

Due to her introverted nature, she did not dare to show her works for a long time, but her husband, who is her biggest fan, pushed her constantly and motivated her to show himself. Her creations are mainly created through acrylic painting, in the brightest colors, but she is constantly evolving and trying out new techniques. ​

Natalie Giorlando was born in Vienna in 1982 and has lived in Switzerland since 2013. ​ In 2016, together with her husband, she opened the online shop "Chic happens" and offered fashion and accessories from Italy. After rapid growth, both then decided to open a boutique in Zurich's Niederdörfli, which was a great success and where their first works of art in the form of pictures and hand-painted it-pieces were also exhibited. ​ After a short time it was clear that they would only concentrate on art and their hand-painted denim jackets were usually SOLD OUT before they were even finished. Each of her pieces is unique and therefore there is no second time. ​

In 2020, Natalie and her husband decided to close the boutique because children were on the way and COVID-19 intimidated everyone. In retrospect, this was the best decision, as Natalie concentrated even more on her work and concluded various collaborations. ​

Her son inspires her with new ideas every day and now that he is a Disney fan too, painting is even easier.

She admires and often inspires artists such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Mr. Brainwash. Together with impressions from the world of fashion and comics, as well as the use of high-quality materials, her works of art are created. Whether on canvas or textiles, each piece is an eye-catcher and is guaranteed to be unique.​ ​
